9 Die As 1398 New Cases Of COVID-19 Hit Nigeria

1398 new cases of COVID19 were reported in Nigeria with nine patients dying from the pandemic one of the most deadly days of the pandemic in Nigeria.

The 1398 cases were recorded in 22 states and the FCT according to a tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

The new cases brought the total number of cases confirmed in the country to 103,999 cases with 82,555 successfully discharged.

The NCDC also reports that total number of deaths from the pandemic stood at 1382.
