Fans Hail As Kane Returns Smiles To Spurs Fans

Harry Kane was being celebrated by Spurs fans on Sunday after he made a quicker recovery from injury to help his side brush aside West Bromwich Albion in their latest premier league game.

The two goal win ended a three game losing streak for his side while he was injured. It was also the first time that Jose Mourinho had three consecutive game matches in his coaching career.

After missing five goal opportunities to the distress of in the first half dominated by Tottenham, Kane scored one to level up as joint second highest goal scorer of the club with his 208th goal in all competitions.

That restored smile to Spurs fans that had been missing in that last three games without Kane.

He holds the second place record with Bobby Smith who played for the club between 1955 and 1964. The record is presently held by Jimmy Greaves who scored 266 goals in 379 appearances for the club between 1961 and 1970.

Kane’s impact in the match against West Bromwich was phenomenal as he had five attempts in the first half before his clincher and the assist in the second half.

The goal was his 13th league goal of the season and his 20th in all competitions.

Following the game, Kane was the toast of Spurs fans who went to social media to celebrate their goal machine.

While some poked that Kane was yet to win a trophy with his present club, Spurs fans were unmindful of such taunts as they celebrated their goal scoring idol.
