The Journey To The Promised Land Is UP

And why have ye BROUGHT UP the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there? And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.

Numbers 20:4,5

In voicing their rebellion on the way to the Promised Land observe; they were BROUGHT UP, and not down in the spiritual sense.

Our journey to heaven is a going UP, we were brought UP from a life of sin but only if we would know it.

Many of us dont know and all we see is the wilderness just as the Israelites did.

Just ahead of them is the Promised Land, but they were stuck with what their eyes could see for now.

Beloved, may God enlighten our eyes to see beyond the present distress into the glorious liberty that the Lord is taking His Church to.
