Saraki Leads PDP Leaders To Jonathan

The Dr. Bukola Saraki led PDP Reconciliation and Strategy Committee has met with former President Goodluck Jonathan. Senator Saraki made this known in a video he tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.

The video showed President Jonathan sharing pleasantries with the committee members.

“As part of our efforts to listen to the concerns of key stakeholders across our great party, this afternoon, the @OfficialPDPNig Reconciliation & Strategy Committee is meeting with our immediate past President, H.E. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (@GEJonathan),” Saraki tweeted.

The meeting is coming against mutterings about the prospect of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC poaching the former president into its fold.

GWG reports that the former president had last weekend dismissed insinuations that he was set to leave the PDP for the APC.
