Bandits operating in the fringes of Niger, Zamfara and Sokoto States have said that they would not lay down their arms until a workable agreement is reached with President Muhammadu Buhari in attendance.

The bandit leader, in an interview with Daily Trust said that past agreements with several state actors had failed and hence the need for Buhari to personally grace negotiations.
