Oyedepos’ Visit To Adeboye Draws Instagram Praise

Many Nigerians are reacting with warm feelings to a video of a birthday melody from Bishop and Mrs. David Oyedepo to the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye on the occasion of his 79^th birthday. The Oyedepos visit Adeboye was captured in an Instagram video.

Adeboye was 79 on March 2.

In the video released on Instagram by Adeboye’s son, Leke, the Oyedepos are seen singing Happy Birthday to Adeboye. Many were also drawn to the sight of Mrs. Oyedepo kneeling during the shoutout.

Oyedepo, presiding bishop of the Living Faith Church, Worldwide and Oyedepo are easily among the leading Christian clerics in the country and their meeting in an atmosphere of infectous laughter and joy was one that touched many who saw the video.

Though Leke Adeboye who published the video on Instagram simply tagged it with an “Hmmm”, the video touched the emotional cords of many of the followers of the two men who went on to pour out their effusive praise of the scene.

Adeboye’s wife was not in the video.

This was how followers reacted to the Instagram post that had drawn more than 39,450 views since it was posted on Thursday by Leke.
