Daddy Freeze Mute As Nigerians Feast On Adultery Fine
Nigerians were at the weekend on the tail of popular broadcaster Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, who was unusually mute after it emerged that he had been slapped with a N5 million fine for the sin of adultery and trespassing into another man’s woman.
Daddy Freeze was ordered by a Port-Harcourt Court to pay Paul Odekina the princely sum following the court action taken by Mr. Odekina against the broadcaster for trespassing into his wife, Benedicta Elechi.
The fine was part of the outcome of the divorce proceedings between Odekina and Elechi in which Daddy Freeze was mentioned for the offence of adultery and for which Elechi’s husband demanded a fine on Daddy Freeze.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the man involved had sued for N400 million but the judge awarded only N5 million against Daddy Freeze.
The revelation of the case and the hefty fine on the anti-tithe crusading Daddy Freeze immediately elicited reactions from Nigerians many of whom had seen the broadcaster pummel Christian ministers for their misdemanours, ranging from financial greed to other excesses.
Daddy Freeze who introduced himself as “light bringer, Servant of Yahweh most high, Scripture Scholar. Convener, #FreeTheSheeple Movement, Leader,” has tormented many Christian clerics over their excesses.
As recent as last Wednesday, he was calling out Pastor Chris Oyakhilome over the claim that a member of his congregation donated his family house to Christ Embassy!
As they digested the news, Nigerians were taking putting their own thoughts on the issue on social media.
Meanwhile, Daddy Freeze has remained unusually mute over the adultery fine and as at midday, Saturday was yet to respond to the development.

Well this happened last month on the 18th precisely, I was in court cos my friend was the lawyer that sued Daddy Freeze and they sued him of 400 million but the judge granted only 5 million.
