President Muhammadu Buhari is confusing bandits with contradictory orders, a former media aide to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, Salihu Tanko Yakasai (Dawisu) has alleged.

He spoke in reaction to the latest order by the president following the kidnap of the Kaduna School students and issued through spokesman, Garba Shehu. In his reaction, the president reportedly gave ‘stern warnings’ to the bandits.

Yakasai in a mocking tone recalled that the president had earlier given the bandits two months to stop their activities.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG recalls that the president had also following the kidnap of the Zamfara school girls penultimate week vowed that that would be the last kidnap attempt in any school.

However, the president’s vow mattered little as the bandits again abducted 39 students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Kaduna State.

Yakasai who was sacked by Ganduje following his criticism of the president after the Zamfara School kidnap taking to his Twitter page, wrote:

“To be honest, you’re confusing these bandits/terrorists. Last week in Zamfara you gave them 2 months’ notice, today na stern warning, which one should they take seriously Mallam Garba? If I’m a father with a kid in boarding school in the affected States, I’ll withdraw them kawai.”
