Bullet Reportedly Hits Ondo Assembly Member At Lagos Airport

An undisclosed member of Ondo State House of Assembly was reportedly hit by a stray bullet at the local wing on Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos.

Sources at the scene said a bullet hit the Ondo State lawmaker on his leg as other accidentally discharged bullets hit walls and some containers within the airport, leaving some properties destroyed.

The incident occurred on Thursday when a security detail attached to the Chairman of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Brigadier-General Buba Marwa, accidentally discharged four bullets in the course of conducting a safety procedure before handing over his firearm to FAAN security operatives.

Sources at the scene said a bullet hit the Ondo State lawmaker on his leg as other accidentally discharged bullets hit walls and some containers within the airport, leaving some properties destroyed.

However, it was gathered that no life was lost in the incident.
