From Ferrari To Keke: DJ Cuppy Laments!
Six months after her father took her and two sisters on a Ferrari shopping spree, DJ Cuppy has apparently lamented the loneliness of riches. Following that shopping spree in September 2020, DJ Cuppy, real names, Florence Otedola, had posted the Ferrari cars that her dad bought for the three ladies on social media drawing strong emotions from some Nigerians with less endowed parents.
Indeed, that posting raised a twitter hashtag, #GodPunishPoverty in which poorer Nigerians lamented the curse of poverty!
Six months after and in a remarkable turn around, DJ Cuppy has turned from her Ferrari to post a picture with a tricycle commonly called Keke in Nigeria.
In the bewildering posting on Instagram on Wednesday, DJ Cuppy waxing philosophical lamented that being surrounded by the wrong people being about the loneliest thing in the world.
The potential Oxford student did not bother to explain more but it was being interpreted to mean some of her well to do people being among the wrong people for her.
Perhaps that may have inspired the billionaire’s daughter to move from her Ferrari to a Keke for comfort.
But did she ride in it? That is one question that was left hanging in her post on Wednesday.
