Senator Shehu Sani on Thursday joked that President Muhammadu Buhari would soon have temporary relief from Nigerian youths’ attack on social media.

Sani suggested that the coming of the sixth seasons of Big Brother Naija and Nigerian Idol will create some distraction for youths from national issues.

He said: “With #BBNaija2021 and #NigerianIdol coming soon, Baba @MBuhari will have some temporary reprieve from Nigerian youths and their SM missiles.”

Multichoice Nigeria announced on Wednesday that the Big Brother Naija show would be returning to the screens with a grand prize of N90 million. Last year, the winner Laycon went home with N85 million worth of prices.

Meanwhile, Nigerian Idol returns after a five-year hiatus. The Idol franchise has over the years produced some of the biggest Nigerian singers such as Timi Dakolo, Mercy Chinwo, and Omawumi.
