The Inner Power For Life’s Battles

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be STRENGTHENED with MIGHT;

Ephesians 3:16.

Life is a series of battles and it’s especially so after coming to the knowledge of the truth.

In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus encouraged the disciples to be girded and guarded.

We must take consideration of the fact that without might, that is power, we would easily be crushed in the battles of life.

It is thus significant that as the apostle kneels down to pray that the first thing he asks for is inner strength. Without it, we would be mincemeat for the devil.

The prophet, Isaiah was on spot when he said “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” Isaiah 40:29.

We must come to Him to fill us with the strength to face life challenges which we must overcome to celebrate our victory in the home, working place and every life endeavour.

We need inner strength to overlook hurts and to say sorry when we hurt others. We need strength to hold on to Godly convictions as the world seeks to modernise Christianity….and in the many issues that face us daily.

Beloved, may you be strengthened with God’s MIGHT today to conquer!
