Man Arrested For Allegedly Killing His Girlfriend By Giving Her Abortion Pills

Wisdom Okoro, a 50-year-old man has been arrested by the police for reportedly procuring abortion drugs from his girlfriend, leading to her death.

On April 11, 2021, police operatives from the Lagos State Police Command’s Ikorodu Division arrested the suspect for the sudden death of his girlfriend, Enobong Udoh, 38.

The incident was reported to the police by one Blessing Pius who happens to be a neighbor of the deceased. According to Blessing Pius, the victim was found dead in her house along Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu, on April 11, 2021, at about 10 am.

Wisdom was arrested by the police for interrogation where he confessed that the deceased had informed him of the pregnancy in February 2021.

Wisdom added that he was at his girlfriend’s place on April 10 2021 to check up on her when she told him she has terminated the pregnancy.

The declaration and utterances of Wisdom, according to CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, revealed that he had some questions to answer.

The photo of the suspect making rounds on social media indicates that the suspect cannot hold back his tears following the death of his beloved and the accusations leveled against him.

Well, some social media users reacted to the news as some descend on the man for still having a girlfriend at his age. Others blasted him for giving the lady drugs he knew will kill her in the end.
