Knowing The Love Of Christ At The Cross

And to KNOW the LOVE of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Ephesians 3:19.

To know the love of Christ for us is to go back in time and see what He did for us.

First, John 3:16 tells us that God so LOVED the world that He gave His only Son and that Son died for us. That is God’s love which He showed NOT to Christians, but to SINNERS because we are told in Romans 5:8 that it was while we were yet sinners, that Christ died for us.

So the fact of Christ showing His love has been proved.

Now, how do you KNOW this love?

It is by you coming to accept, believing and taking in the event of the cross.

Did u see the Roman centurion at the cross as he supervised the execution of the Innocent Jesus?

Matthew 27:54 says: “Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.”

That was the experience of the senior army officer and his close aides.

Beloved, you too can behold the love of Christ that has distilled unto men from the ages by looking again at what He did at the cross.
