According to reports, she died in an Abuja hospital today.

Some citizens have blamed the pastors with who she had an issue but refused to forgive her after asking for their forgiveness asking whether they are happy now that the girl is dead calling for the arrest of the one who afflicted the pain on her.

Others also reacted sadly to her death praying that her soul rests in peace saying at least she was able to ask for forgiveness and settle her misunderstanding between all those she knowingly and unknowingly stepped on their toes.

Here are some reactions:

@Iam_safiano “The contradiction is she had no prior diagnosis or single trace of d kidney issue, or sudden stroke that we heard happened before dat, question now is, how come a young girl with soo much energy suddenly gets struck with strange ailments after her s/media clash with two people?”

@YouthsofNaija “I don’t blame people holding Odumeje responsible for her death.
A prophet of God, why didn’t he heal her since he has the auction to heal the sick.
He didn’t forgive Ada Jesus because if he knows if he does, he is expected to heal her.”

@novieverest “Just heard Ada Jesus is dead. For clarity sake, if the news is true, she didn’t die because she insulted Odumeje or Rita Edochie. She died of an illness. An illness that both young and old people die of. We need to focus on improving our health system. Top pastors have been cursing and wishing Buhari death, baba travels to UK and comes back fresher.

“Before you come here to cry spirituality, I am a Christian. I have seen a lot of things God has done, but you see my God…. His ways are plain open in the Bible. Christ died for Grace, if there’s no Grace anymore.. Then I should quit believing. I have witnessed Him.

“People with health issues will need money for treatment, when they post about it, people will turn it to prayer point. There’s a thin line between all these things. My elder sister was once healed of asthma on a visit to sand field when Bonke visited.

“Average life span in Nigeria is lower than in countries with good health facilities. Your pastors and my priests travel to those countries for treatment. They go on regular medical check. The ones that are honest will tell you.”

@osirmah “Ada Jesus died of Kidney related issues according to reports. That’s what I believe though!! If those statements made to her months back was the cause, abeg make those same people make statements about Nigeria politicians so we can get rid of em al. If not, abeg dead the narrative!”

@FestusGreen “Ada Jesus had a kidney problem, a medical problem. But close family members and friends thought it was all spiritual, thereby further complicating an already stressed situation.

“It’s quite unfortunate how we attribute whatever we don’t understand to mysticism & spirituality!”

@balo_ng wrote “We are too religious in Nigeria, the times and period she’s supposed to be.medically treated, they were busy looking for people behind her calamity”

“Odumeje Reducing Christianity To Comedy,” Evangelist Esiri Warns (Video)

Published

on

Evangelist Kesiena Esiri, a prominent figure in The Remnant Christian Network (RCN), has voiced concern over the mockery Christianity faces due to the antics of Pastor Chukwuemeka Odumeje, also known as the Abido Shaker, Indaboski Bahose, and Liquid Metal.

Esiri’s remarks stem from the widespread circulation of TikTok videos featuring Pastor Odumeje’s self-praise and unconventional preaching style, which many perceive as more comedic than doctrinally sound.

During a recent church event, Evangelist Kesiena expressed dismay over the portrayal of Christianity by Pastor Odumeje, whom he referred to as a “Clown.” He highlighted the large following attracted by the preacher and the virality of his videos.

Watch the video below;

Additionally, Evangelist Esiri criticized other pastors for their false teachings, citing instances where one labeled Jacob as a ‘Yahoo boy’ and another claimed that Satan was God’s favorite son.

GWG.ng reports that the remarks of Evangelist Esiri may be popular among some elements of the church in Nigeria many of who draw references from the bible passages that elucidate on how the love of Christ would fall in the last days. Additionally, the assertions of Evangelist Esiri would also resonate with those who draw reference to injunctions in 1 Timothy 4:1 of the multiplicity of false teachers in the last days.

“From there, I moved to female hairstyles to makeup and more women were patronising my business. So I decided to keep crossdressing since it was lucrative.

“I wasn’t thinking I was going to do it for a very long time. Initially, it was just a marketing strategy but people were complimenting me that I look better as a woman than a man. That’s how I ended up being Bobrisky.”

Published

on

In a leaked voice note conversation with controversial singer Portable, Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao offered a heartfelt apology for the uproar surrounding the ‘Best Dressed Female‘ award given to Bobrisky at the premiere of her movie.

Acknowledging the intentional nature of the act, Ajao admitted that the decision to award Bobrisky was made in a bid to generate buzz and promotion for her movie project.

Expressing remorse and nearly in tears, Ajao revealed the desperation behind her actions, citing an investment of over N200 million in her new film. She emphasized that the lack of support from other quarters led her to take such a controversial step.

“I am so sorry; the deed has been done. It was not a mistake because I am not a child. It was an intentional act; I have spent over N200M on the film. I know everybody is upset, it was because I just wanted people to talk about the movie because I was not getting help anywhere. The help I didn’t get was why I did it. I didn’t know it would escalate to this point,” she expressed.

List Of Countries With Highest Salaries In The World

Published

on

By

Max Bramwell, the founder of FounderPass, has revealed a list of countries with the highest and lowest average salaries in the world.

Bramwell named Nigeria, Egypt, Libya and Tunisia, among others as countries with the lowest average salaries globally.

Exploring the factors driving the disparities, Bramwell said: “How does your salary compare to the national average? How much could you be making if you moved to another country?

https://gwg.ng/2024/03/28/breaking-binance-executives-drag-nsa-efcc-to-court/

“From nations with some of the highest average salaries like Switzerland and Luxembourg to those with the lowest such as Tunisia and Bangladesh, examining income levels sheds light on how much a move could make you – or cost you.”

In an article, Bramwell also named the countries with the highest average salaries after-tax to include Switzerland, Luxembourg, Singapore, the United States, and Hong Kong.

Others include Qatar, Denmark, Australia, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, and Switzerland.

According to Bramwell: ‘Renowned for its high standard of living and strong economy, Switzerland tops the list with some of the highest average salaries globally.’ The country’s robust financial sector, advanced technology industry, and skilled workforce contribute to its prosperity and high-income levels for its citizens.

https://gwg.ng/2024/03/28/former-us-vice-presidential-nominee-joe-lieberman-is-dead/

Luxembourg
As one of the wealthiest countries in the world, Luxembourg boasts high average salaries driven by its thriving financial services sector, strategic location in Europe, and favourable tax policies. The country’s stable economy and high living standards make it an attractive destination for professionals seeking lucrative job opportunities.

Singapore
With its strategic location, efficient infrastructure, and business-friendly environment, Singapore ranks among the countries with the highest average salaries. Max explains, ‘The city-state’s diverse economy, strong emphasis on education and innovation, and well-developed financial services sector contribute to its economic success and high-income levels for its residents.’

United States
Despite wide income disparities and regional variations, the United States remains a global economic powerhouse with high average salaries in sectors such as technology, finance, and healthcare. The country’s entrepreneurial spirit, innovation culture, and diverse job market contribute to its economic prosperity and high standard of living.

Hong Kong
Max says, ‘Known for its bustling financial centre and vibrant economy, Hong Kong ranks among the top countries with high average salaries.’ The city’s strategic location, low taxes, and free-market policies attract multinational corporations and skilled professionals, driving its economic growth and high-income levels.

https://gwg.ng/2024/03/28/breaking-eniola-ajao-strips-bobrisky-of-best-dressed-female-award-names-two-females-as-winners/

He also named countries with the lowest salaries after tax to include: Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Nepal

Others include: Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka, known for its rich history and cultural heritage, is also marked by economic complexities. While the nation has made strides in economic development, issues such as poverty and unemployment persist, impacting the wages of many Sri Lankans. Despite efforts to foster growth, income disparities remain a challenge, particularly in rural areas where opportunities are limited.

Venezuela
Max explains, ‘In Venezuela, once considered one of Latin America’s wealthiest nations, political instability and hyperinflation have taken a heavy toll on the economy.’ The result has been a severe economic downturn, leading to diminished purchasing power for the workforce. As a consequence, the average salary in Venezuela has plummeted, exacerbating challenges for citizens trying to make ends meet.

Pakistan
Pakistan, with its vast potential and diverse population, faces a multitude of economic hurdles. Widespread poverty, limited job opportunities, and income inequality contribute to lower average salaries across the country. Despite efforts to spur economic growth, addressing these challenges remains a daunting task for policymakers and citizens alike.

Egypt
In Egypt, ongoing economic reforms aim to address long-standing issues of income inequality and poverty. However, despite progress in certain areas, disparities persist, particularly in rural regions. Income levels remain low for many Egyptians, highlighting the need for continued efforts to improve economic conditions and enhance livelihoods.

Nigeria
As Africa’s most populous nation and largest economy, Nigeria holds immense potential. However, economic challenges such as corruption, infrastructure deficits, and high unemployment rates hinder progress. Max explains, ‘These factors contribute to lower average salaries and living standards for many Nigerians, underscoring the need for comprehensive economic reforms and investment in human capital.’

During the event, popular movie producer, Femi Adebayo Salami, announced Bobrisky as the winner of the N1 million prize attached to the award.

However, Bobrisky’s victory sparked online controversies, with celebrities and fans questioning the criteria used to determine the winner.

Actress Dayo Amusa and Omotayo Sanusi, Adebayo’s wife, engaged in a heated exchange of words, while Portable, the controversial singer, referred to Bobrisky as a “disgrace to brotherhood”.

Amid the controversies, the film producer, Eniola Ajao, took to her Instagram page to issue an apology to all parties involved in the saga.

The filmmaker expressed her “deep respect for women” and vowed to “never engage in behaviour that undermines their role in society”.

Ajao also explained that the decision to award Bobrisky the ‘best-dressed female’ prize was a “strategy to generate publicity” for the movie.

To rectify the situation, Eniola announced two new winners for the ‘best-dressed female’ category, each receiving N1 million as a “gesture of my sincere apology and appreciation for their elegance and grace”.

Her statement reads: “I address you all today, taking full responsibility and seeking your pardon with my deepest regrets for the distress and turmoil caused by the events surrounding the selection of Best Dressed at the premiere of “AJAKAJU.

“First, I want to extend my sincerest apologies to the Muslim community, especially during this sacred month of Ramadan.

“To the women in our society, I want to express my profound apologies. As a woman myself, I understand the importance of upholding and honouring our gender with dignity and respect. I want to assure you that I hold the utmost reverence for womanhood, and I would never intentionally engage in any behaviour that diminishes or disparages the role of women in our society.

“I also extend my heartfelt apologies to My honourable and supportive boss Femi Adebayo @femiadebayosalami and his wife, @iyanaladuke and @dayoamusa, for the undue backlash they faced as a result of the announcement made at our event. I deeply regret the insults and disrespect directed towards them, and I take full responsibility for any harm caused.

“To Bobrisky @bobrisky222, I offer my sincere apologies for putting you in a difficult position. The decision to award you was never meant to cause harm or controversy but was rather an attempt to generate publicity for our movie. I am truly sorry for any distress this may have caused you.

“To make amends and correct my mistakes, I have decided to honour two females, Bode Alao and one other beautiful woman, as the best-dressed females at the premiere. Each will receive a sum of N1,000,000.

It, however, remains to be seen if the award and money handed to Bobrisky would be taken from him.
