Chidinma Ekile Celebrates 30th Birthday, Currently A Gospel Singer

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Chidinma Ekile is celebrating her 30th birthday today.

Chidinma who was born on 2nd May, 1991 in Kosofe area of Lagos State, Nigeria turned 30 years old and stormed her Instagram page with lovely photos and videos to celebrate her day.

Celebrating her birthday, Chidinma Ekile wrote:

THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER YEAR, “JEHOVAH OVER DO”..

In another post, she appreciated God for doing the most in her life by another year to her age. She captioned a beautiful photo of her;

THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER YEAR, “JEHOVAH OVER DO”..

She urged her fans to discard their past and move on in life because the past never returns. She noted that one cannot go back into his/her mother’s womb once you come into this world. According to her, it’s only the future that needs you, the past has past and no longer needs you.

She captioned her post;

“You can’t go back into your mother’s womb. Your past is your past. It is over! Accept the fact and dismiss your past and move on. Let it go!”

Chidinma who is the sixth of seven children in her family began singing at the age of 6. According to her, life didn’t take it easy with her ranging from bullies at school to growing up under a disciplinarian father.

She came into the limelight in 2010 after winning the third season of Project Fame West Africa which saw the participation of over 8000 contestants who were present to display their talents.

In an interview with Guardian, Chidinma disclosed that she was blind for months after she born. However, her mother kept the faith and prayed to God for a miracle to descend upon her baby girl. This explains why her Mma Charity Organization is aimed at supporting visually disabled people.
