BREAKING: Abia Varsity Students Kidnapped

News of the first kidnap of students in Southern Nigeria has emerged with a yet unknown number of students of Abia State University, Uturu reportedly kidnapped.

The Punch reported on Thursday that gunmen on Wednesday night kidnapped who were travelling on the Uturu – Okigwe highway in the night.

They were reportedly whisked into the forest after they were ambushed according to the report.
Nigeria has been bedeviled with reports of the kidnapping of school children in recent times. Almost all the cases had been reported in the Northern section of the country.
