Zahra Buhari Joins Unusual Protest

Zahra Buhari-Indimi, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari now married to the Indimi family of Maiduguri, Borno State has come out to make a protest albeit on Instagram.

ZMBI and her sisters-in-law have donned the in-style Abaya female dress to show solidarity with a student of the Kano University of Science and Technology, KSUT who was recently harassed for wearing the expensive attire.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that because the material is expensive some females who wear it have been alleged to have sold female virtue to purchase it.

17 students of KSUT were alleged to have hounded a female student wearing it a development that prompted the school authorities to sanction them.

Now in solidarity with ladies who have been hounded for wearing the expensive Arabian styled Abaya, Mrs. Zahra Buhari Indimi and her sisters in law donned theirs and placed the pictures on Instagram.

“Say no to harassment. #kustwudiabayaday #kustwudistopbullyinginyouruniversity” Zahra, Adama, Hauwa, Meram Indimi captioned the photos.
