Another Rep Dumps PDP For APC

Another house of representatives member, Jonathan Gaza has dumped the peoples democratic party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Gaza is the latest in the gale of defection that hit the opposition party.

Gaza defection is coming barely 24 hours after the opposition party lost four members of the house to APC

The letter of defection was read by the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila on Wednesday during plenary.

The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, and two of his predecessors, Sen Tanko Almakura and Sen Abdulahi Adamy were on the floor of the House to witness the defection.

The visibly elated Speaker, who could not put his emotions in check with the defection, took a swipe at the minority caucus over the latest defection.

“Where is Hon Ndudi Elumelu (the minority leader), is he not going to raise a point of order?” the Speaker asked
