Italy captain, Giorgio Chiellini, said he placed a “curse” on England youngster, Bukayo Saka, before his decisive penalty miss in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday.

Saka spot kick was saved  by Gianluigi Donnarumma, ensuring Italy won the European title after the two teams remained level on 1-1 after 120 minutes.

Just before the Arsenal star took the kick, Chiellini screamed “Kiricocho!”

It is a word that’s been used by footballers for decades to instill fear and wish bad luck on the opposition.
