Ganduje invitation dollar video

Hours after President Muhammadu Buhari endorsed his stewardship of Kano State and asked other governors to imitate him, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has again dragged the publisher of Daily Nigeria, Jafar Jafar before a High in Abuja over the alleged dollar stuffing video.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the allegation that Ganduje stuffed packs of dollars as bribe from contractors is one blot that the second-term governor is apparently hoping to cleanse after Buhari’s adulation of his person on Thursday.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG gathered that Ganuje filed a civil suit with No CU/1598/2021 dated 15 July 2021. against Jafar Jafar and Penlight Light Media Limited over their publication of the story and the accompanying video of someone depicted as the governor stuffing dollars into his pocket following a meeting with contractors.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Governor Ganduje had a week ago discontinued an earlier suit filed before a Kano High Court that was directed at clearing his name over the issue.

The suit was directed at Jafar Jafar and his online publication for allegedly publishing a video content allegedly showing  him stufing his pockets with dollars.

Consequently, the court awarded N800,000 compensation to Jaafar Jaafar and Daily Nigeria.

The Writ of  Summons signed by an Abuja High Registry stated that the fertility of the issued Writ of Summons expires three calendar months  from  the date of issuance.

In a  Writ of Summons , the court cautioned that “In to an action at the suit of Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and take notice that in default the Claimant may proceed and judgement may be given.”

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the governor’s inclination to clear his name follows the visit of President Buhari to Kano during which he hailed Governor Ganduje on his silence and exploits.
