You Will End Like Hushpuppi, Adeyanju Warns Obi Cubana

Popular Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has turned his focus temporarily away from the perceived failures of the Muhammadu Buhari administration and joined those questioning the ostentatious burial ceremony Obi Cubana gave his deceased mother.

Adeyanju went on twitter to question the wealth of the entertainment king warning that Obi Cubana could end up as Hushpuppi.

Adeyanju had before the arrest of the fraud suspect by the Americans been one of the leading critics of the ostentatious outings of Hushpuppi leading the latter to flay him as being envious of his wealth.

Adeyanju is, however, not the first to criticise the ostentation that went with how the mother of Obi Cubana was buried.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that before Adeyanju that Malawi based Roman Catholic Priest, Father Kelvin Ugwu had questioned the lavish display of money at the burial ceremony.

Adeyanju took to his Twitter page to call for caution as he said that those who make their money through sweat do not throw money the way it was made to rain during the burial ceremony at Oba, Anambra State.

While warning Obi Cubana to be cautious about attracting the FBI and EFCC, he said that Hushpuppi did the same before he was caught by the FBI and is now cooling his feet in an American jail.

“This was how some of us kept asking what Hushpuppi was doing that he was throwing money up and down but we were called names and insulted. Today, he is in an American jail.”

“Hushpuppi once made several videos mocking me that I am jealous of him. That I should focus on politicians, activism and allow him to enjoy his money. Today, how far? We cannot watch you guys negatively brainwash young people and say nothing.”

The rights activist then advised the youths not to be pressured into dubious ways of making money.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that one of those present at the burial ceremony was Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.

Kyari has in response to the propriety of his presence at the burial ceremony said that Obi Cubana is one of the most diligent and hardworking entrepreneurs he knows.
