Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, on Monday night took to her Instagram page to announce the demise of her father.

In the post announcing the death of her father, Tiwa Savage said, “Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple of years but you are resting now. This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Peace my King. I love you daddy. Savy t’eko, pappin K”

Tiwa Savage’s post at the time of writing has gathered more than 14,500 comments and 253,800 likes.
