I Was A Street Boy Selling Oranges, Corn And Coconut, Says Okorocha’s Son-In-Law
Uche Nwosu, a former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 election in Imo State and son-in-law to a former governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha has narrated his humble background.
Nwosu while speaking during a dinner organised on Sunday night in commemoration of his 46th birthday in Abuja said he would like to keep his plans for 2023 close to his chest for now.
While reminiscing on the 2019 general election, Okorocha’s son-in-law said, “From a street boy selling oranges and corn and coconut to where I am today, I just have to say thank you Lord.
“There is no regret but one thing that I can say made me start thinking about life is that after the 2019 general election, something you thought that was going to go your side automatically changed. I said ‘wow, is that how this world is’?
“As a young man I said, is it how politics is? Should I go back or continue? But I must continue.”
“2023 is still far; For me, I will keep it to my chest. When 2023 comes, 2023 will talk for itself,” added.
