Sexual Harassment: New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, Resigns
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has resigned from his position amid sex scandal.
The embattled governor announced his resignation on Tuesday during a live broadcast.
Cuomo has been accused of sexual harassment by 11 women during his tenure as governor of the state.
He said his resignation became imperative in order to prevent running of the state affairs from grinding to a halt.

“I think that given the circumstances, the best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to government,” Cuomo said in the live address.
“My resignation will be effective in 14 days.”
