How Nollywood Feted Ayo Adesanya @ 52

Popular Nollywood actress, producer, and director Ayo Adesanya who is best known for her roles in Yoruba movies clocked another year on Wednesday when she turned 52.
Ayo Adesanya took to her Instagram page to share beautiful photos of herself which sparked up birthday wishes from colleagues in the Nollywood Industry.
After sharing the photos, she wrote “How much did I give you oh Lord….that your mercy has kept me till now… I can only praise and worship your Holy name for making me see yet another beautiful year… Kindly celebrate the Glory of God in my life…it’s my birthday…..yippee….
Amongst colleagues of Ayo Adesanya that sent her birthday wishes in the comment section of her posts were Mercy Aigbe, Andrea Chikachukwu, Ngozi Nwosu, and Dunni Ade.
The actress who was born in 1969 was married to Goriola Hassan. The union has since separated after producing a son.
Ayo Adesanya started her acting career on a small scale in 1986. But after the Ogun State indigene completed her NYSC program in 1996, she joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) professionally and began her professional acting career.
Her first appearance on Television was on Tunij Bamishifbin’s soap opera titled Palace. She has also won some awards including “Best Supporting Actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards among others.
