Issues As Tonto Dikeh Bids To Be Madam President!

Tonto Dikeh has gone to school to prepare herself to be president of Nigeria, she announced recently.

Sharing a picture of herself in a leadership training school days ago, Tonto said the resort to school was part of her aspiration to become the president of Nigeria.

“Determined to rule Nigeria one day,” the star actress had said.

However, her aspiration is bound to receive mixed reactions against the background of the controversies that have been associated with her.

Starting from the crash of her marriage with entrepreneur and philanthropist, Olakunle Churchill which lasted for six months after the birth of her son Andrea, there are many, many issues to raise around Tonto Dikeh.

Besides her provocative dismissal of Churchill as a one-minute man, she had also raised several allegations about her ex some of which have bordered on libel.

The actress has also had a famous falling apart with her one-time bestie, Bobrisky and the degree of the animosity between the pair was underlined by the fact that they unfollowed one another on social media.

Tonto had taken to her Instagram account to make a post about jealous friends who present themselves as though they are supportive. What followed was that the two were then seen making a show of themselves on Instagram.

Tonto also came under criticism after a picture of her kissing her father on the lips turned viral drawing sharp criticism despite her claim that her father was an American based man with a different cultural code.

Tonto has recently been parading a man who she claimed has come to fill the void in her life. However,  GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that claims that her man is married with children is one that is also bound to draw questions.

Before then she had a disagreement with the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, NCPC over her purported appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador.

Remarkably, in all of the issues that have befallen her, Tonto Dikeh has walked away from all with stoic grace.

It is this grace that she is now applying in her biggest gambit of all, the decision by the Rivers State University of Science and Technology graduate of petroleum engineering to run for the presidency of Nigeria.

How Tonto Dikeh who has survived several scandals and near scandals that could have diminished many others would be a useful lesson in surviving the political arena.
