Ondo House of Reps member, Expensive, Is Dead

Tragedy has struck in Ondo as a lawmaker representing Akure South/North Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Adedayo Omolafe, popularly known as Expensive, was reported dead.

A close ally of the Reps member said “he was unconscious last night (Sunday night) and rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo”.

He reportedly died at about 2 am Monday morning.

According to one of his aides, “Expensive was not sick, we were still together on Sunday this is so sad, a terrible blow dealt Akure”.

He was the chairman of Akure South Local Government between 2003-2009.

Hon Omolafe has also served as a State Coordinator of SURE-P, a Federal intervention programme to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
