Female Friends React As Timini Egbuson’s Ex-Lydia Balogun Rants

Lydia Balogun, the ex-girlfriend of popular Nigerian actor, Timini Egbuson has taken to her twitter page to vomit all of Timini’s alleged secrets hurling multiple allegations against him. Her action has, however, drawn the sharp rebuke of female and male friends of the actor who accused Lydia Balogun of deceit in their relationship.

Lydia also posted screen shots of her tweets on her Instagram status @lydiaofficial.

 “…Timini Egbuson, you are a predator, you’re a cradle snatcher, and you’re a pervert and all round terrible people. Meeting this man I had no clue of his sexual past or who he had been involved with, didn’t know anyone from his social circle. And now I know that is also intentional…

“I was completely new to the dating scene in Lagos, had no understanding of Nigerian men or knew anything about Timini and his sexual past. I was told things and believed them. There are scarring things that happened in the relationship that I will not even get into because that is not even the point…

“This is what all the other girls were talking about that year, it was so easy to see them as ‘bitter’ and that’s what many people called them and will probably call me but I no send your papa…

You have tried so harsh to tarnish the tiny reputation I managed to build for myself… constantly spreading lies about me and trying to make me look bad but the tl won’t see that one, it’s me that’s bitter…

“This man called me a harlot told me no one could ever love me again and how I’m a joke because I’ve slept with the whole of Lagos and I should go ‘kill myself’…

“Timini you have slept with everything breathing in Lagos and Abuja and you think for one second that you can slut shame me? …You are a monster…

“This man is fully aware that he took advantage of my naiveness and is doing the same to other girls and has told me I can’t do anything about all of this because he never thought I’d actually speak up lmaooo. Get me lit, motherfucker”.

She also smeared the names of Timini’s female besties as she wrote “This agbaya told me he’d do everything in his power to hurt me (for moving on?), he would sleep with all of my friends etc etc. Lmaoo psycho…S/O to Mod Jas and Busola Adejoro the only ones that acc fell for this rubbish….”

According to reports a certain Busola Adejoro with the handle @busola_adejoro, a Babcock Student introduced Lydia to Timini.

Busola, reacting to Lydia Balogun wrote “Lydia Balogun Gahan leave me alone. You’ve threatened to kill me, you’ve harassed me, and you’ve called my friends to rant bullshit. Aren’t you tired? For the last time I didn’t do anything with your mans. Move on with your life”.

Dorcas, another of Timini’s bestie took to her twitter handle to defend him as she wrote “First of all, Tmini is old enough to make his own decisions which I’ve discussed with them PRIVATELY but I won’t sit back and let this clout chaser drag him because he refuses to reply”.

Same Lydia that up to two weeks ago was still begging Timini back, the guy has blocked you everywhere, you call with different numbers and send emails NON STOP, shey because e no gree you result to this? Smh…”

Lydia however responded by writing “Dorcas you’re fucking fool, I’ll say it again. Imagine saying I was calling him to beg him 2 weeks ago. You know why I was calling him, HE knows. That is why he was calling my friends to check up on me. Want me to tell the public why I was calling?”

She also wrote “Dsf do not let me open your rape apologist ass right here. Are you the only one female friend he has, why are you so triggered? You’re a big fool”.

Timini, however, finally reacted, as he came out to clear the air on the messy smear that was done by Lydia and his female besties as he wrote “I don’t normally address things as I have dealt with accusations my entire career, but after discussions with my team I have decided to speak up on this issue.

“Firstly I would like to make clear beyond any doubt that I do not condone any relationship with anyone under the age of consent. Rumors are Rumors. But baseless accusation of sexual abuse or grooming  is something I don’t take lightly given the severity of the issue.

“Secondly, let’s be clear, I am a single man who has dated women of different ages, all of whom are older than the legal.consenting age.

“Lydia and I dated two years ago. We were both consenting adults at the time and knew and approved of each other. Our relationship didn’t work out due to circumstances we were both at fault for. Which resulting in us parting ways. Our relationship was a volatile one and mistakes were made on both ends.

“Nevertheless, I learned from it and have since moved on and honestly would let that chapter of my life behind me and I wish her well”.
