Why I Withdrew From BBNaija, Kayvee Finally Speaks

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) “Shine Ya Eye” ex-housemate, Kayvee, has finally opened up after being withdrawn from the reality show.

Real name Olalade Gbolahan Olajide withdrew from the show on August 16 following advice from doctors who visited him on the show.

Kayvee’s fellow BBNaija housemates drew the attention of Biggie after they noticed he was exhibiting some “weird behaviours“.

Kayvee in a statement released on his Instagram page Wednesday night, said that he wanted to stay on the show till the end but certain events escalated the anxiety he felt in the house and this impacted his disposition.

The statement reads in part; “I underestimated the effect isolation would have on my mental health and integrating with other housemates.

“I honestly wanted to stay till the 72nd day, and I believe that I have the personality, the empathy, and the game spirit to have made it to the end.

“But, certain events that happened in quick succession escalated the anxiety I felt and impacted my being jovial, energetic, and fun person I am”.

He however noted that he is “currently in a medical facility, working through the debilitating anxiety I felt”.
