Jonathan, Atiku Present As Pantami Officiates Yusuf Buhari’s Wedding
Former President Goodluck Jonathan, ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar were among the dignitaries in Bichi Emirate of Kano when Yusuf Buhari, the only son of President Muhammadu Buhari, got married to Zahra Bayero, daughter of the Emir.
Ali Isa Pantami, Minister of Digital Economy, wedded the couple at Bichi Central Mosque.
Malam Maman Daura, Buhari’s nephew, received the bride on behalf of the president, while Alhaji Aminu Dantata, influential businessman, gave out the bride on behalf of the Bayero family.
The high and mighty attended the wedding, which has been the talk of town for weeks.
Governors, ministers, senators and well respected businessmen and women were in Bichi for the ceremony.
