Delta APC Snubs Ayiri, Hails Olu Of Warri

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has congratulated the new Olu of Warri, His Royal Majesty, Tsola Emiko on his official coronation/ascendancy to the revered throne of Olu of Warri Kingdom.

The APC in a statement issued by party spokesman Sylvester Imoninia and made available to  GreenWhiteGreen GWG affirmed that the emergence of Tsola Emiko as the new Olu of Warri has been received with joy by the majority of his subjects.

The party as such said that it felt obliged to celebrate with the new Olu and wish him well and a successful reign.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG, however, notes that the message of the party was despite the reservation of a prominent member of the party, Chief Ayiri Emami to the emergence of Prince Tsola Emiko as Olu of Warri.

Ayiri who is a prominent member of the APC in Delta State and Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom had gone to court to stop the coronation of Emiko but to no avail.

Affirming the unity of the party behind the new Olu of Warri, the APC said:

“There is no gainsaying the fact that from the first day of the presentation of Omoba Tsola Emiko as the Olu-designate, there has been celebration by the Itsekiri Nation within and without Delta State. The sounds of joy by the Itsekiris and their friends is a testimony of the love of the people for His Majesty.

Affirming the pride of the Delta APC in the new Olu of Warri, he added:

“Delta APC proudly associates with His Royal Majesty and supports his clear vision for a better society for humanity as a whole. We prayer God to grant him good health of mind and body, and the Solomonic wisdom to lead the Itsekiri People in prosperity, unity and peace.

“Long live Your Royal Majesty.

“Ogiame! Suooooooo!”
