Lady Breaks Down On TV Over Homosexual Husband

A Nigerian woman broke down during a television call to the ladies of Your View on TVC on Wednesday morning as she narrated her predicament with her homosexual husband.

The unidentified lady spoke out following the discussion on the situation of people who ignorantly marry men or women who are also homosexuals.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that homosexual marriage is prohibited in Nigeria under existing laws reinforced during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

However, the ladies of Your View had on Tuesday, August 31, broached a discussion of the circumstances of people who enter heterosexual marriages ignorant of the fact that their spouses are also homosexuals sleeping with the same sex.

The ladies in their discussion said that the rate of people being trapped in such marriages with homosexuals was rising and discussed several options to check the trend.

However, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, a lady called into the programme saying she had found herself in the same predicament.

The lady said that she got married to a man who she met in church in 2017 and that the marriage has so far been blessed with two children.

She, however, said that two or so years into the marriage she found out that the husband was also a homosexual and immediately confronted him. She said that he promised to change and despite counseling from church and other leaders she said that he has not changed.

According to her, he subsequently warned her not to bring up the issue again in the house. She said that two weeks ago she was compelled to relocate to her family house and at that point she broke down as she was overwhelmed by emotion.

The ladies of her view were equally sympathetic and overwhelmed with emotion and the show’s host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown counselled her and encouraged her.
