Niger Delta Group Hails NIRSAL-MFB MD

Niger Delta APC Youth Vanguard Group (ND-APCYV), an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group operating from the Niger Delta has commended the Managing Director of NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank, Abubakar Abdullahi Kure over the bank’s funding scheme to the agricultural sector.

The group comprising politicians and ex-agitators from the region, particularly noted that the Abubakar Abdulhai kure-led NIRSAL has worked tirelessly to reposition the agricultural sector despite despite the rising economic challenges in the land.

A statement by its National Coordinator, Gen Fiawei E. Pathfinder and National Secretary, Comrade AK Peters, in a statement issued via electronic mail in Abuja, commended Kure for what they said he had done since his emergence as the managing director of NIRSAL.

According to the group, “As at today, over 90 percent of our smallholder farmers across the country who were limited to have access to farmers’ and traders’ funds of all kinds, such as artisans including hair barbing saloon shop owners, female hairdressing saloons, Beauty make-up artists, vulgarizers, market women with petty traders and pepper grounding machines with fashion designers, shoe makers, carpentry operators, furniture makers, bricklayers and small scale business traders including artists of musicians and entertainment industry as well who were having it difficult to access this business support funds of low interest rate without collateral or by any connections are today benefiting and growing in there various businesses of specifications without stress.

“The review of the Agricultural sector with proper funding have made ordinary Nigerians smiling to their places of various business endeavors across the six geo-political zones of the country without any stress and with the approval of President of Muhammad Buhari who cares more about the welfare and the well-being of the ordinary Nigerians who massively voted for him in the last presidential election.

“The programme was initiated the noble idea of the Central Bank Gov of Nigeria to support most of these small-scale farmers with small and medium business entrepreneurs who could not gain access to these funds to grow their businesses in the last 16 wasted years of the PDP administration for reasons beyond their reach, but as at today the story is quite different under President Muhammadu Buhari led APC federal government.”
