Anambra 2021: Court Declares Ozigno As Valid Candidate For PDP

The Appeal Court has declared Valentine Ozigbo as PDP’s legitimate Candidate for the Anambra 2021 gubernatorial election.

The declaration was made by Court of Appeal in Abuja. Valentine Ozigbo has been declared as the validly nominated candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State.

The President of Appeal Court; Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem and a three-member panel, unanimously upheld the two appeals filed by Ozigbo and the PDP (CA/AW/223/2021 and CA/AW/234/2021).

Anambra State has witness controversial court orders in recent days with several Federal High Courts declaring different individuals within APC and PDP as valid candidates. Several aggrieved aspirants headed to court to seek justice on party primaries.

The promiscuous orders granted by Judges has been frowned at by the Chief Judge of Nigeria, NBA and the general public.
