Ronaldo Debuts With A Brace As Man U Sink Newcastle 4-1
Cristiano Ronaldo made his second debut in Manchester United on Saturday by helping the team open a floodgate of goals that sunk a redoubtable Newcastle United.
Ronaldo scored in the second minute of the extra time in the first half to open what had until then been an impregnable defence put up by the visiting Newcastle.
On resumption, Newcastle surprised by pulling back the deficit through Javier Manquillo in the 56th minute, but Ronaldo restored the lead in the 62nd minute sending the passionate fans in Old Trafford wild.
From then, Manchester held on to its dominance with Bruno Fernandez in the 80th minute and Jesse Lingard confirmed the dominance in the 92nd minute.
