The blogger at the centre of the storm between Nollywood superstar actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Funke Akindele has insisted he wrote the truth when he said that Toyin Abraham’s latest film is not recommended for intelligent people.

@cinemapointer, a film critic,  GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports, has further denied being paid to rubbish “The Ghost and The Tout Too,” produced by Toyin Abraham.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the media house, Cinema Pointer had rubbished the Toyin Abraham film saying that it was not worth the ticket adding that it was a poor imitation of Funke Akindele’s Omo Ghetto.

“Not Recommended for intelligent people. Over the years, we have told you many truths but non Greater than this: Intelligent minds were not taken into consideration at all in the writing and in the making of ‘Ghost and The Tout Too,” ,” @cinemapointer had written in its review of the film.

“Regardless of how flagrantly it copycats off ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga’, desperately hoping to shine like it…’The Ghost and The Tout Too’ doesn’t understand that movie-making is rooted in brainwork and not using cinema to do ‘Yahoo’, abusing stardoms to fleece fandoms,” @cinemapointer further posted.

Following the review, Iyabo Ojo a friend of Toyin Abraham descended on the reviewer, @cinemapointer saying,

“How much did Funke pay you to write this rubbish, the day she begins to find ways not to talk bad about her colleagues or try to discredit their hard work or personalities that day she will begin to experience inner peace,” Iyabo wrote.

“I know you and you know me very well  @cinemapointer go back and tell your sender that no matter how many times you try to put Toyin Abraham down or discredit her work it won’t work.”

The spat has drawn in fans and divided many between those with Iyabo Ojo and those with Funke Akindele.

But responding to the growing storm, @cinemapointer has denied being paid for the review “We don’t sell reviews. We tell the Truth.”
