Social media reacts as EFCC boss, Bawa slumps

Nigerians have taken to social media platforms to react to the news of the slump of the Chairman of the Economic, Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa at a function at the Presidential Villa on Thursday.

GWG had earlier reported that the EFCC boss was giving his goodwill message at the National Identity Day celebration when the incident occurred.

Bawa was later assisted to his seat by Dr Isa Ali Pantami, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, before being whisked away from the venue.

Although, the EFCC in a statement released by Wilson Uwajuren, Head of Media and Publicity, said Bawa is hale and healthy, adding that the Chairman after seeking medical attention has returned to his desk.
