Comedian Debo Macaroni Accuses The Police Of Illegal Check Point

Nigerian comedian Debo Macaroni has criticized the Nigerian Police Force for their daily illegal checks and extortion.

Debo turned to Twitter to accuse the Nigerian police force of extortion and contributing to Nigerians’ hardships.

He tweeted;

“Nigerian Police Force with illegal checkpoints especially at night. Harassing and extorting Nigerians of their hard-earned money. Despite the hardship Nigerians are going through, police go still come collect the small wey you manage hustle. Shameless!!!”

Fans of the comedian reacted to what the comedian tweeted;

Daniel Regha: “This is true Debo. We need to protest aganist them, we need to use our voters card to vote for the right choice come next elections, let us vote atuku for a better Nigeria.”

Melvin Idowu: “Thou i agree with you, but not all police extort people at checkpoint and i pray you also tweet when police does great.. Don’t always make it look like police does wrong from January to December…”

Temitayorh wrote; They do wrong frm Jan to Dec. These bastards stopped us when coming back from BITES CLUB around Ikeja btw the time 4am to 5am and search us but couldn’t find anything, only for them to refuse to give us back our phones and say we’ll have to pay 200k to collect back it back.
