‘A Study In Lies’, Reno, Others React To Buhari’s Independence Day Speech

President Muhammadu Buhari’s annual October 1st Independence Day speech has drawn the ire of some Nigerians as monitored by GWG News on social media.

President Buhari touched on the Twitter ban, Sunday Igboho, Nnamdi Kanu in his speech, mentioning the discovery of a sitting NASS member as a sponsor of secessionist activities.

Nigerian received the speech in a negative light, criticising the President for not touching on issues such as the apparent growing division among Nigerians, and going after sponsors of terrorists who have resorted to murder, kidnapping for ransom.

@renoomokri In conclusion, Buhari’s Independence speech was a study in lies, refusal to accept reality, delusion, blaming others, entitlement mentality (demanding vaccines that he can’t produce and blaming the West for our shortages). A waste of 30 minutes
