Buhari Gives Order To Lift Twitter Ban On Twitter If…

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the suspension on the operations of Twitter in the country to be lifted.

Speaking during his nationwide broadcast, he said that the suspension will be lifted so long as the agreement with Twitter Inc are fulfilled by the company.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Nigeria slapped a ban on Twitter operations in the country after the company deleted a tweet by President Buhari.

Noting efforts aimed towards resolving the dispute, he said:

“Following the extensive engagements, the issues are being addressed and I have directed that the suspension be lifted but only if the conditions are met to allow our citizens continue the use of the platform for business and positive engagements.”
