Akwa Ibom Supporters Set To Visit Tinubu In London

A delegation of the Akwa Ibom Stakeholders for Asiwaju Tinubu, AKISAT is set to depart the country to visit its 2023 presidential beacon now convalescing in London, United Kingdom.

The visit is expected to give a national colour to the throng of delegations that have been visiting the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC in London. A coordinator of the impending visit, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh who confirmed the development to GreenWhiteGreen GWG was, however, quick to affirm that the visits to Tinubu in London were not framed along geopolitical basis but inspired by the outpouring of love for the politician arising from the teachings of the two dominant religions in the country.

“Nigeria is a country that is bound by two major religions and these religions promote love and affection. For two people to go to London to visit Asiwaju, they could have different motives dependent on the visitors. Some could be going out of love and some for political,” he said.

“Akwa Ibom Stakeholders for Asiwaju Tinubu, AKISAT are putting ourselves to go to London because we believe in him and we stand by him during high and low,” Eyiboh said.

“The whole things is beyond politics we are expressing fundamental principle of our religion being one another’s keeper,” he added in asserting the love that believers of the national leader enjoys from supporters in Akwa Ibom State.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Asiwaju Tinubu has been in London for about three months allegedly recovering from a knee operation. He has received delegations of supporters from the Southwest and the North. The visit of the Akwa Ibom delegation would be the first notable delegation from the South-South visiting Tinubu.
