Nigerians Mock FG’s Claim Nnamdi Kanu Organised Attack On Oba Of Lagos

Remarkable reactions are trailing the charge by the Federal Government that against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, organized the attack on the palace of the Oba of Lagos during the #EndSARS riot of 2020.

Civil rights activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju brought the issue to focus in a post on twitter saying that the allegation levelled by the minister of justice and attorney general of the federation, Abubakar Malami was a low and was drawn up to keep Nnamdi Kanu perpetually in detention.

He said:

I have read the charges against Nnamdi Kanu and they lack substance. The goal is to keep him in detention at all cost. How can you say IPOB attacked Oba of Lagos palace when we all saw the video of Yoruba boys that did it online? Video is still on the internet.

The post drew several reactions with many averring that it was a way to stir up animosity between the Yoruba and the Igbo as a way of perpetually dividing the two dominant Southern ethnic groups.

In the view of The Patriot @Agulazaruss, the claim that Nnamdi Kanu attacked the palace of the Oba of Lagos was aimed at creating division between the Igbo and the Yoruba.

They are afraid of southern solidarity so they do and say  whatever is possible to keep the south apart because once the south joins together and pull apart from the north they will be finished with hunger, they target politicians individually  and the regions collectively
