Edo PDP Hails Dokpesi At 70

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State has congratulated High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

The party in a statement made available to  GreenWhiteGreen GWG lauded the AIT founder and PDP chieftain on what it described as his uncommon wisdom, business acumen and exemplary leadership.

The statement issued by the PDP state publicity secretary, Chris Nehikhare said:

“High Chief, you have been an inspiration to many. Your labour , loyalty, service and mentoring of up-coming politicians and businessmen and women especially in the media industry is unrivaled. You have exhibited uncommon wisdom, remarkable vision, business acumen and exemplary leadership. 

“You have showed commitment to the development of not just our party, PDP, Edo state but our country at large. 

“We are proud to be part of your special day and wish you many happy returns, long life, increased grace , abundant blessings and great health. 

“As we celebrate you today, we look forward to many more years of useful work for the good of humanity!”

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Chief Dokpesi is one of the leading lights of the PDP in Edo State and had in the past sought the office of national chairman of the party. Dokpesi, however, at the age of 70 has counted himself out in the present plans to elect a new national executive.
