Why Buhari Is An Exceptional Leader – Tinubu

All Progressives Congress, APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has described President Muhammadu Buhari as an exceptional leader giving as his reason the fact that the president visited him in London when he had a knee surgery.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Buhari who was in London partly for a medical consultation in August had taken time to visit the APC leader who at that time was said to have had a knee surgery at that time.

Tinubu repaid the visit on Sunday when he said he came to appreciate the president for the visit to him in London.

Both men held a closed door meeting the substance of which was, however, not made known to the media.

At the end of the meeting, Tinubu said he was at the presidential villa to thank the president for visiting him in London where he sought medical treatment.

“I came to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting me in London when I had a knee surgery. He demonstrated empathy. He is an exceptional leader,” Tinubu said.

Besides Tinubu, a number of leading political associates of Tinubu also visited him in London among whom were Governors Babjide Sanwo-Olu, (Lagos) and Abdullahi Ganduje, Kano.

Governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti and Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State who are not known to be political soul mates of Tinubu also visited him in London.
