PDP In Bold Move For Lagos, Commences Talks With Anti-Tinubu APC Group

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on Monday initiated an attack on the political base of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos as it commenced formal talks with the Lagos4Lagos Movement, a group within the All Progressives Congress, APC that has lately risen in rebellion against Tinubu.

The mission of the high powered delegation from Abuja, it was gathered, was in continuation of the PDP’s consultation with critical stakeholders across Nigeria following the success of its recently held national convention.

The delegation led by High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, a member of the Board of Trustees, BOT, of the PDP visited the Liberty Place, of Lagos4Lagos movement to extend an invitation to the Lead Visioner, Dr. Abdul-azeez Olajide Adediran, to join it’s fold ahead of the 2023 gubernatorial election.

Speaking, at the meeting, Dokpesi acknowledged the years of hard work of Lagos4lagos Movement in Lagos state, saying no political party could ignore the group.

Reacting, the Lead Visioner of the movement, Adediran, popularly called Jandor, expressed appreciation for the visit and the belief the PDP had in its movement.

Jandor told the delegation that political platform is not the problem of the country, but political class, adding that his group would take a critical look at their invite, inform all Lagos4lagos structures across the 245 wards in the state and revert accordingly.

The move by the PDP to woo the Lagos4Lagos Movement is bound to unsettle the political permutations in Lagos and pose issues for Tinubu
