Fans Shocked As Davido Begs For Money On Instagram

Social media users and fans of popular Nigerian musician Davido have been left in shock as Davido posted his account number on his insta story requesting for money.

In an Instagram post, the well-liked musician asked his friends to send N1 million each to his Wema Bank account.

”We rise by lifting others abi? Me I don dey rise dey lifting others for the past 100 years. So I want to know who my friends are. All of my friends one one million Naira. Shey they said we are 30 BG. If you don’t send your own. You out of here. You are gone,” he said.

While some of his fans thought he meant he would send money to them, others started donating to him.

Some of those who sent money to his account displayed evidence of doing so.

While some others said it is possible that the musician’s Instagram account was hacked as it seems unlikely that Davido would request for money.

But the possibility of the musician’s account being hacked is slim as Davido has continued to post videos of himself confirming receipt of said money from friends.
