Sani Dangote die

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote has spoken of his pain watching his brother die helpless to reverse the pronouncement of doctors last Sunday as death took his younger brother, Sani away.

Sani was Aliko’s deputy in his business group and died in the United States with their mother, Aliko and children watching at the bedside.

Speaking when he received the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Kano residence on Friday, Dangote expressed his pain after the doctors told them that his brother had only about one hour to live.

“It was painful because he died in front of me, our mother and children,” Dangote said as he lamented that he was broken as he watched his brother die helpless to reverse the move.

While appreciating the presence of Tinubu, he noted the brotherly relationship he said had existed between them over time as he observed that the uncertainty of death is a reason why people should be good at all times.

“The way people have been coming is really overwhelming,” he added.

“The visit will help us to reduce the pain especially for myself because we grew together.

“It was painful when they told us he was going to die in few hours and we had to watch him take his last breath,” he said.

In his condolence message, Tinubu described the deceased as a Lagosian and great Nigerian

“Sani is a Lagosian and a great Nigerian. He is a brother and friend to all of us. It is a loss to all of us,” Tinubu said, praying the God will comfort all that he left behind.
