Update: Rema Reveals Why He Called Out DJ Neptune

Recall that early on Friday morning, popular Nigerian musician Rema called out popular DJ Neptune over releasing a song without following due process.

Team hinted that the call-out was a result of DJ Neptune releasing a song that featured him (Rema) which they didn’t record together.

This has prompted several reactions from social media users and fans alike.

Also, prominent media personalities OAP Dotun weighed in on the matter as he appealed for calm while calling Rema to order.

In his reaction, OAP Dotun urged Rema to try and find out better ways to approach certain things before making a call-out online.

The post he made reads;

“I love Rema alot. I hosted his first ever listening. He just needs to find a better approach on things like this. You all recorded this together, we were not there. He also needs to address things with his representatives. Trust me, this won’t be more than a mere miscommunication.”

Reacting to the media personality’s post, Rema gave details saying;

“OG we didn’t record it together, neither was I paid, neither did I sign any document, neither did the producer ask for my consent before releasing my stems. I was crossed, I’m not a hot head, I’m just a kid vouching for my Art that’s all, I’m not a disrespectful person.”
