Mr Ibu, Foluke Daramola, Nollywood Stars Under Fire After Singing, Dancing For Tinubu (Video)

Some of Nigeria’s leading Nollywood stars including John Okafor aka Mr Ibu, Foluke Daramola have come under social media fire after a video of them singing and dancing to the presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu turned viral.

The video saw the stars singing in Tinubu’s name around a table where they apparently had had a meeting. No evidence of inducement besides bottled water was shown among the stars. However, many who commented on the picture believed otherwise with suggestions that the Nollywood stars had betrayed the cause of the common man by their supposedly selling their reputations for a political cause.

While some tried to hide their faces from the camera, two stars who were particularly discernable, Mr. Ibu and Foluke Daramola were the objects of the fury of their fans.
